“Recapturing the Soul and Spirit of Georgia Music.”
The Georgia Music Revue™ represents a unique collaboration between some of Georgia’s most talented and historically authentic Roots Music artists. Together they present an unlimited rich mixture of genuine Blues, Soul, Gospel, Jazz, Funk and R&B. The show is purposely designed to provide a powerful and emotional entertainment experience for audiences worldwide. The Georgia Music Revue™ members are considered true music and education ambassadors. This ensemble offers a wide variety of avenues to explore, explain and experience the African American and Americana music which originated in Georgia.
Whether it is Rita Graham performing in Northern Wales, Bill Sheffield touring in Belgium, Tommy Brown appearing in France, Willie Hill performing in Germany, Sammy Blue tantalizing crowds in Singapore, or Robin Brown touring in Spain, each artist creates a special and exhilarating performance for their fans. The GMR members are also fully engaged with the entertainment industry in America through the publishing of Rita Graham’s suspense novel “Karma Rising” and Sammy Blue’s acting role and original song in the Warner Brothers/Clint Eastwood film “Trouble With The Curve”. For arts education events, the GLF offers a master lecture series hosted by acclaimed artist, GLF President and “History Maker” member Newton Collier. And, the renowned Dr. Clark White, Ph.D., aka “Deacon Blues” is our “Blues in the Schools” expert consultant.
Accompanying the Revue is a rotating group of Atlanta’s top musicians. The Georgia Music Revue™ is not just a band with various singers. It is a real Revue poised to perform unforgettable ‘one night only’ events, multiple-day festivals, college campus tours/lectures, films, television productions, and art museum appearances. The GMR is a beautiful gathering of professionals who complement each other.
This dynamic Revue includes (from left to right): author, vocal sensation and former Raelette Rita Graham; Soul/Blues great Willie Hill; “Crown Prince of the Blues” Sammy Blue; the legendary singer/comedian/entertainer Tommy Brown; acoustic guitarist and songwriter extraordinaire Bill Sheffield; international Gospel great and premier vocal coach to the stars Ms. Robin Brown; swing guitar master Frankie Lee Robinson; and, powerhouse vocalist and consistent crowd pleaser Ms. Princess Riley.
