Sammy Blue’s connection to film began in 1970 when he attended the Atlanta School of Fine Arts at the High Museum of Art Atlanta to study still photography. He enrolled and completed the Atlanta Cinematography Workshop taught by legendary cinematographer Joe Potts. During the 80’s, 90’s and to this very day he’s appeared on various TV talk shows nationwide. He’s also appeared in TV episodes, film documentaries, stage plays and movies. Sammy has worked for the Portland Theater Company, West Coast Black Theater Troup, Paramount/Larimore TV, Universal TV, Warner Brothers Films, Warner Brothers Music, Mariposa Films and WAK Productions as an actor, musician and music consultant. His most recent work can be seen in Clint Eastwood’s “Trouble with the Curve” and the indie film “We Are Kings.” When not on the road Sammy attends Atlanta’s premiere school for actors, Nick Conti’s Professional Actor’s Studio, www.ProActorsStudio.com. His training includes the practice of Cold Reading, Improvisation, On Camera Work, Technique, Scene/Script analysis and development, Monologues, Character Study and Method Study.
